Sunny Chai, Chairman of Hong Kong Science Park, said, “The Blueprint charts a clear way forward for Hong Kong's I&T development in the next five to ten years, which shows genuine intent to invigorate and inspire the community. The Blueprint proposes major measures such as enhancing the I&T ecosystem, promoting ‘new industrialisation’, enlarging the talent pool and more active integration into overall national development goals, which will further promote the Hong Kong I&T ecosystem, create new career opportunities for young people in Hong Kong, and inject impetus into Hong Kong’s economy.” “With this further injection of support from the country and the HKSAR Government, the I&T industry will emerge as a core engine for Hong Kong’s next era of growth and forge a new future for all of Hong Kong. HKSTP will leverage the city’s distinct advantages to drive innovation."
